About Us

Pika Consulting was conceived and designed to meet the challenges and difficulties that often occur in the Outdoor/Environmental education and Conservation/Youth corps fields. Having held roles in both field and high level supervisory positions we believe that our experience allows us to not only understand these challenges, but also to address them. We have created the services and opportunities that we wished were available to us while we were managing and running programs. What we offer is unique and somewhat revolutionary, but we believe it is both cost effective, and extremely useful.

Eric Ruljancich Director/Co-Founder

With nearly 20 years of experience, Eric brings his knowledge, enthusiasm, and energy to every project he is involved in. He has built trails for the Forest Service, managed several youth programs, worked as a white water raft guide, taught outdoor education, and founded his own Conservation Corps. He has worked in Alaska, California, Arizona, and British Columbia. He is equally comfortable building trail, supervising crews, developing programs and curriculum, training staff, leading trips, teaching, and managing organizations. A natural problem solver, he relishes the challenge of working with multiple people to fix things and to design better systems. He is passionate about the outdoors, always happy to share his knowledge and exuberance with those around him. Eric possesses the rare ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the important details. In his spare time you will find him rock climbing, writing, traveling, and exploring long forgotten trails.
